The four of Val Thorogood, Barry Thorogood, Audrey Fowler and Brian Fowler were crowned Hertfordshire County Mixed Fours Champions at Elm Court.
Seven teams competed for the title and the privilege of representing the county at the National Finals in March. A round robin format saw all teams playing six games. Runners up were Jill Oakes, Pauline Taylor, Alan Spicer and Brian McGivern.

The winners are guaranteed a slot at the Nationals with other places to be confirmed when entries from all counties are consolidated. In previous years, Hertfordshire has been allocated two representatives at the Finals.
