27 Jan 2018 : Herts at the ICC Rinks Finals

Hertfordshire competed in the ESMBA ICC Rinks Finals for the first time.  Eight counties participated and were drawn into two groups of four.  Herts were up against it from the start with a really tough draw including two of the top A Division counties; Devon and West Midlands.

Probably Herts best chance of a win was in the first match against Kent with Herts having beaten them in the qualifying round of this competition.  But we were unable to repeat our earlier result and went down 31-51.  In the other two matches, the greater experience at this level of Devon and West Midlands told and Herts were unable to trouble them.

Devon topped our group and went on to contest the final against Surrey.
