The 2017-2018 Barnet League came to a close last night.  Already crowned champions Greenwood A suffered a rare defeat at the hands of St Margaret's 1.  Greenwood A led most of the way but a 4 on the 8th end proved decisive for St Margaret's 1.

In Division 2 local rivals Shillington and Letchworth 2 were closely matched until the 12th end when a 5 shot count for Letchworth 2 opened a gap and they went on to win 17-8.  The Northiam derby saw West beat South by 14-12.

Congratulations to League Champions Greenwood A and Division 2 Champions Northiam East.  Letchworth were runners up in both divisions.

A huge thank you goes out to Margaret and Alan Hare for their superb management of the league this season when they were challenged by a number of postponements and rearranged games.

And we finish on a rather sad note as an era ends with this being our last season at St Mary's Church, Potters Bar but we can all look forward to our new venue in Hatfield.
