The Hertfordshire Short Mat Bowling Association annual Charity Event was held at Elm Court on Saturday 25 August.  48 bowlers participated and were organised as 2 leagues of 8 teams each playing 5 games of two wood triples (7 ends).

Winners of League 1 were Derek (Shillington), Bob (Bucks) and Chris (Bucks).  Runners up were Liz (Harpenden), Jean (Cuffley) and Michael (Cuffley).

League 2 winners were Dennis (Greenwood), Ted (Cuffley) and Ted (Northiam).  Runners up were Bill (Greenwood), Annie (Bucks) and Jeanette (St Margaret's).
