Having played outdoor bowls since retiring, I took up Short Mat Bowls in 2007 whilst recuperating from major open-heart surgery and soon became hooked on the game. I play for Letchworth short Mat Bowls Club where I am also the treasurer.

I have had the privilege of playing regularly for Hertfordshire for the past couple of seasons or so.
