Greenwood Goshawks got off to a shaky start losing  heavily against  Letchworth Lions in their first match. They then went on a 5 match winning  spree  before losing their first match after Christmas against Letchworth Dragons. The Goshawks only lost one more match against Northiam East before clinching the title with a win against their club mates Greenwood Hawks.

Letchworth Dragons started the season well with a win against  Harpenden Nightjars. They then lost their next 2 games before winning 5 games on the trot. However they couldn't keep up this form and only won one of their last four matches to finish in second place.

Northiam East won their first two matches against St Margaret's 1 and Letchworth Lions. However their form dipped and they  then lost their next four games before winning five out of six in the New Year. This winning streak  included wins against both  the leaders Greenwood Goshawks and second place Letchworth Dragons and took them to third place with the same points but a slightly inferior shot difference to the Dragons.

Letchworth Lions had a good start to the season , winning three of their first four matches. However  they were then  inconsistent  registering  an equal number of wins and losses after the Christmas break. Although they notched  wins against both first and second teams, they eventually finished fourth with the same points as both the Letchworth Dragons and Northiam East but with a  negative shot difference.

St Margaret's 1 did not start well losing their first 3 games before winning two on the trot against Harpenden Nightjars and Letchworth Lions. They showed better form in the New Year winning 3 games and losing 3. However, they managed to finish with a flourish beating both Letchworth teams in their last two matches. St Margaret's  ended the season in fifth place and avoided relegation.

Harpenden Nightjars started quite well winning two of their first three matches. However they then had a 4-match losing streak and only managed to win 2 out of their 6 games after Christmas. Their final position was 6th and they will be relagated to Division 2 next season..

Greenwood Hawks won two of their first four matches before Christmas. Unfortunately they only won game in the New Year and  they finished in last place, 2 points behind Harpenden Nightjars.

 

       

Cuffley Gin started the season by losing against  Shillington Black but then showed their class by beating Northiam West 32 - 3 and St Margaret's 20 - 8. They then lost to Harpenden Owls before winning all their final eight games and securing  the 2nd Division Championship and promotion to Division 1 by 5 points over their club mates Cuffley Tonic.   

Cuffley Tonic made a good start winning 3 of their first 4 games. They then lost 3 of their next four before finishing the season strongly by  winning 3 of their last 4 matches. They finished in second place with a 2 point advantage over third placed Harpenden Owls and gained promotion to Division 1.

Harpenden Owls also started strongly winning 5 of their 7   matches before Christmas.  Unfortunately they couldn't maintain their good form  only winning one of their 5 post-Christmas games. Harpenden Owls  ended the season  in third place, one point ahead of Shillington White.

Shillington White started very strongly winning 4 of their first 5 matches. However they then fell off the pace, only winning 2 of their final 7 games to finish in 4th place one point ahead of St Margaret's 2.

St Margaret's 2 won and lost alternate games throughout the season before drawing their final match against bottom placed Northiam West. St Margaret's 2 finished in 5th place 4 points ahead of Shillington Black.

Shillington Black won their first match against the eventual winners Cuffley Gin. They then lost 6 and drew 1 of their next 7 games before beating their club mates Shillington White, They won one more game to finish 6th in their first season on equal points with bottom placed Northiam West but with a better shot difference.

Northiam West had a difficult season only managing to win 3 of their games; however they ended their programme on a high note with a draw and a win in their last two matches. Although they finished bottom of the division, Northiam West had the same points as Shillington Black and only lost out on shot difference.
