The county's annual charity day event was for the benefit of Age UK this year.

36 bowlers took part in a triples competition.  The format was two groups each of 6 teams and prizes were awarded for winners and runners up in each group.

The first group was won by Margaret Regan, John Hurst and Irene Roberts and the runners up were Darren Stanford, Bill Durham and Liz Bradley.

The other group was won by Alan Kelley, Tony Gayler and Michael West who finished just ahead of Cherry Nolan, David Gander and Jeanette Gayler.

The raffle was a major event of its own with a huge number of prizes donated for the draw.
