In the latest round of the Inter County Championship Qualifying Stage, Hertfordshire had a comfortable win over Northamptonshire.  The 26-14 score line included the bonus points from three of the four disciplines.  Three combinations took maximum points from the match;  Audrey Fowler and Sam Salmon in the Pairs, Jill Oakes, Mary Chadd and Brian McGivern in the Triples and Peter Griffiths, Eileen Prior, Robin Quarterman and Bill Gearing in the Fours.

The result puts Hertfordshire in top spot in the qualifying group although they have played more matches than the other teams in the group.
