In the ICC Qualifying Group fixture against Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire had much the better of the morning sessions of play.  In the opening session, both pairs scored wins and the points were shared 4-4.  The triples and fours went one better with both fours winning and one of the triples taking their game points.  The other triple just missed out, going down 11-12.  At the lunch break, Hertfordshire led 10-6.

In the third session, the singles and pairs reversed their earlier results;  both singles won and both pairs lost.  Disappointingly, neither discipline was able to register any bonus points.  The match score was now tied at 14-14.  In a disappointing final session, Buckinghamshire swept the board.  Hertfordshire lost all four games, although the scoring was managed well to add 1 bonus point from the triples and 2 bonus points from the fours.
