Brian McGivern and Darren Stanford won the Hertfordshire County Pairs Championship at Elm Court.

Runners up were Pauline Taylor and Alan Hare.

Trevor Tharby and Dennis Paddison of Harpenden were very unlucky to lose their semi final against the eventual winners on an extra end.  Their misfortune was compounded when they lost the 3rd/4th place playoff against club mates Steve Hipperson and Ken Murray.

The top three finishers in the competition will represent Hertfordshire at The National Finals in April.
