Letchworth held a charity triples gala on Monday 23rd October at their headquarters in Sparhawke, Letchworth in aid of The Garden House Hospice. Twelve teams from Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire took part. The winners were a Cambridge team of Judith and Ray Fox and Colin Buck who beat the Letchworth team of Madelene Layton, Maureen Kitchener and Alan Byram in a well fought final.

 

A very enjoyable day was had by all and at the end of the competition, Letchworth Chairman, Alan Hare, was able to present a cheque for £400 to Hospice Ambassadors Anne Johnston and Rose Mitchell.
