Tony Gayler is the 2017-18 County Singles Champion following a full day's bowling at Elm Court.

Runner up in the competition was Michael Thrush.

The 3rd/4th place decider was won by Gordon Burrows with Dennis Mack taking 4th slot.

The County Championship is also the qualifying competition to determine Hertfordshire's representatives at the National Singles Finals in April.  Tony is guaranteed a place at Melton Mowbray as the winner and further places are awarded based on the number of entrants from each county.  Last year 3 Hertfordshire bowlers took part in the Nationals.
