Hertfordshire have qualified for the final stages of the ICC Rinks competition having finished second in a tough group of four counties.  The qualifying event took place at Wey Valley IBC, Guildford short mat bowls complex.

Hertfordshire's first match was against Kent and resulted in a 12 shot win overall.  In the next match Herts faced Essex and pulled off a remarkable 1 shot victory.  The final match pitted Herts against Surrey on their home mats.  Surrey won by 24 shots to take top spot in the group with two wins.  Herts matched Surrey with 4 points but had a lesser shots difference.

The ICC Rinks Finals take place on the weekend of 27/28 January.
