Letchworth Lions went top of Division 1 with a very close 15-14 win over Greenwood Hawks. The Hawks led 5-2 early on before the Lions pulled level at 6-6. The Letchworth side then scored 7 unanswered shots in three ends but the Hawks came right back at them with a 2 and a 4 to lie just 1 shot behind with two ends to play. The Lions went into the last end with a 3 shot advantage and a score of 2 wasn't enough for the Hawks to get anything out of this match. The other Division 1 game was also a Letchworth-Greenwood matchup and the game was close until halfway. The teams were tied at 6-6 after 8 ends. The Dragons failed to score again (although the last end was tied) and the Goshawks ran out 16-6 winners.
In Division 2 the Shillington teams faced each other. Shillington White took an early 5-2 lead before Black levelled at 6-6. Tied again two ends later, Black edged out to an 11-8 advantage with 3 ends to play. But Shillington White scored on all of the remaining ends to take the points with a 12-11 score line. In the other game, Cuffley Tonic earned their first points of the season with a 18-13 win over Northiam West. Tonic leapt out to a 9-1 lead before Northiam registered a 2 and a 5 to get within one shot. The next end was decisive as Cuffley Tonic scored a maximum 6 shots. Northiam West fought hard but couldn't claw back the deficit.
