Letchworth teams did well at the Beds & Herts League  Presentation Evening held at Wilstead Bowls Club on Thursday 4th April by taking the top trophies! The Letchworth "Quakers" team of Alan Hare, Dave Maryam, Lesley Jones, Dee Davidson and Sam Salmon took first place with the "Black Squirrels" (Ivor Jenkins, David Grant, Jeff Branch, Margaret Hare and Jean Avis) coming second, narrowly beating another Herts affiliated club, Shillington "Scarecrows" into third place.
