The Hertfordshire County "Over-55s" Pairs Championship and National Qualifier was held at "Jimmy Mac's" in Hatfield on Saturday 9th November 2019. Twenty pairs took part in the competition and played a "round robin" in 5 groups of which the 1st  and 2nd teams went through to the "knock-out" rounds.

The winners were Michael West and Malcolm Petrie of Cuffley Hall Club who received a "walk-over" from Brian McGivern and Alan Spicer. The third place play-off was won by Bill & Toni Gearing who beat Alexis and Dennis Mack by 5 shots to 1. Because Michael  & Malcolm do not want to take part, Ted & Cherry Nolan, who came 5th will have their names put forward for the National Finals along with Brian & Alan, Toni & Bill and Alexis & Dennis.
