The Barnet League season is now well under way with Week 7 just having been completed.
There was only one game in the First Division as Letchworth Lions postponed their match against Cuffley Tonic because of injuries. The Lions clubmates, Letchworth Dragons, managed to inflict the first defeat of the season on runaway Division 1 leaders, Greenwood Peckers. The Dragons took an early lead and continued to dominate the game, winning by 21 shots to 5. However, Greenwood Peckers remain top whilst the Dragons move into second place.
There were two matches in Division 2. Shillington Black consolidated their lead at the top of the table with a comfortable win 17 - 9 against newly re-named St Margaret's Wizards (formerly St Margaret's 2). In the second game, Letchworth Tigers were runaway winners against Harpenden Owls. With the game evenly poised at the half-way stage, the Tigers racked up 16 shots in the final 7 ends whilst the Owls only managed to score 1, Letchworth Tigers winning by 24 shots to 8 to go second in the table.
