After their unbeaten run came to a halt last week, Division 1 leaders, Greenwood Peckers, returned to their best form when they comfortably beat Northiam East. The Peckers scored 10 shots before Northiam managed get on the board; they then took a six and a five 5 in a comfortable 26 -7 win. In their game, Cuffley Gin cruised to an 11 - 0 lead against St Margaret's Rarebits and went on to win by 19 shots to 11.
In Division 2, Harpenden Owls had a straight forward win against bottom-placed Shillington Red; 5 - 0 up after 4 ends, the Owls were always on top to win by 15 shots to 8. The Owls Club mates, Harpenden Nightjars were not so successful and were11 - 0 down after only 3 ends against Greenwood Hawks, although the Nightjars fought back to win 14 shots in the remaining 12 ends, it wasn't enough and the Hawks went on to win 18 -14.
