Hertfordshire finished fourth in their qualifying group in the new ICC Team Fours competition, missing out on qualification for the finals only on shots difference.

Favourites Suffolk dominated the group winning all three of their matches.  Hertfordshire got off to a very promising start with a 7 shot win over Buckinghamshire but suffered at the hands of Suffolk going down by 31 shots.  A win against Surrey would have secured qualification. Michael West's rink won their third game of the day but it wasn't quite enough and Surrey went through as second placed finishers.
