Pauline Taylor and Jill Oakes were both selected to play for the England Ladies Team against the Friends of Essex mixed team. Playing as lead and two in the same four started off well by winning their first game. In the following 4 rounds both ladies were split up both winning two out of their 4 matches. The final match of the day saw the ladies playing together again with another winning result. The final match result was England Ladies 63 points Friends of Essex 35 Points.
