The Greenwood Open Gala was won by Sue Murray, Eric Ditchfield and Ken Murray of Harpenden.  The runners up were Ann Laws, Jean Patten and Diane Webb from Cuffley Hall.

20 triples took part in the event.  The preliminary stage was divided into two groups of ten teams, each playing four games.  The two finalists finished top of their respective groups.

A big thank you must go to the organisers of the competition.  All games were started and finished promptly and everything ran to time.  A large screen showing the playing order was a welcome innovation.
