The first round of Division 1 matches was completed this week with Harpenden B beating Letchworth 1 by 20-7.  With only one game played by each team it is too early to draw any conclusions but the first full league table has the Harpenden teams heading the way.

In Division 2 Letchworth 2 beat St Margaret's 2 by 20-14 whilst Harpenden C lost for the third time against Northiam South 10-15.  Last season this division was very close throughout and it is already looking to be similar with six of the seven teams on 2 points.

Next week there are two Division 1 games with both Greenwood teams in action; Greenwood A play Letchworth 1 and Greenwood B are up against St Margaret's 1. In Division 2 Shillington play their third game in the league against Northiam East.
