The Hertfordshire County Mixed Fours Champions for 2017-18 are Pauline Taylor (Harpenden), Mary Chadd, Alan Spicer and Brian McGivern (all Cuffley Hall).  Runners up were Marion Cooper, Margaret Hare, Sam Salmon and Alan Hare (Letchworth).

12 teams took part in the competition.  Divided into four groups of three teams, each team had two group games with the group winners progressing to the semi final stage.  In addition to the final a third/fourth place match was played to determine the order of entries to the ESMBA National Finals.  The team finishing third was Brenda Hutton, Toni Gearing, Mike Bristol and Bill Gearing after their win over Vicky Waite, Jo Canning, Jim Waite and Peter Regan.

The county champions are guaranteed a place in the Mixed Fours National Finals on 7th April.  Additional placed are allocated to counties based on the number of entries in their qualifying competition.  Last season Hertfordshire were allocated 2 places at the Nationals.
