The Barnet league continues to be ultra competitive. There are now no unbeaten records in the league with most teams having played just 3 games.
In Division 1 Greenwood Goshawks went top with a 26-4 win over St Margaret's 1. The St Margaret's side were ahead after the first end but that was as good as it got. The Goshawks scored five 3s and a 5 on their way to the top. Northiam East suffered their first loss of the season against Harpenden Nightjars. The Nightjars scored on six of the first eight ends to build a 10-3 lead. The East hit back with a 4 count but could not close the gap any further and the Harpenden trio went on to win 14-10.
Gin and Tonic was a winning combination for Cuffley as both teams won and now occupy the top slots in Division 2. Tonic scored steadily to establish a 10-2 lead at the halfway point. Harpenden Owls scored 3 shots on the 9th and another on the last end but Cuffley Tonic finished 15-10 ahead. Cuffley Gin took a maximum 6 count off St Margaret's 2 on their way to an early 10-0 lead after just four ends. From their on in the St Margaret's team were competitive, and the gap between the two sides was maintained until a final end 2 shots gave Cuffley Gin a 20-8 win and leadership of the division.
