Letchworth Lions went top of the league with a close fought 14-11 win over club mates Letchworth Dragons. Both teams traded shots in the first 9 ends, Lions just edging ahead 5-4. The Dragons scored what looked to be a decisive 5 on the 10th end but three ends later the Lions got it all back and, having won the intervening ends, led 13-9. They held on for the win. In the other Division 1 game Northiam East started well before Greenwood Hawks took four consecutive ends to lead 6-4. From there the East were always training and the Hawks finished 16-11 ahead.
Division 2 is now topped by Shillington White after their 16-13 win over Northiam West. The Northiam trio led until the 13th end when White scored 4 shots to add to their previous 3 and edge ahead 13-11. Northiam West levelled the scores at 13-13 with just the last end to play but Shillington White finished off with a 3 shot count to rise to the top of the division. Shillington Black were also in action (against St Margaret's 2) and they started badly falling 0-9 behind in the first three ends. After that, they were playing catch up but the closest they got to their opponents was a 6 shot deficit and St Margaret's 2 used their impressive start to win 18-10.
