The Hertfordshire  Pair of Mick Thrush and Dennis Mack took a very creditable second place in Group B of the Buckinghamshire Short Mat Association' s Aussie Pairs competition on Sunday 28th July. There were  5 Hertfordshire pairs represented  in the 24 teams taking part in the competition which was held at the Handy Cross Indoor Bowls Centre, High Wycombe. Each pair played 4 games and a very enjoyable day was had by all.
