On Saturday 2nd November and,  despite the Rugby World Cup Final, the poor weather  and the cramped venue, Letchworth SMBA held a very successful Charity Triples Gala in aid of the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Service. Sixteen teams from four counties took part. Along with the raffle and "Spider", the event raised the magnificent sum of £350. Cambridgeshire took the bowling honours by providing both the winners and runners-up teams!

A very enjoyable day was had by all! Thanks to Alan & Margaret Hare and everyone who helped organise the event.
