End of Session four and end of the match Hertfordshire win with 25 points Kent 23 points.

I hope the above gives some sense of the atmosphere during the pairs. In real time all four mats were being played at the same time. With mats 9 and 10 running away the bonus points looked fairly safe. Mat 11 was running a couple of ends behind mat 12. Watching the shot difference for the bonus points saw the difference go from 0 to -1 to +1 a couple of times. This was a really exciting close match.

With congratulations flowing in from Jeanette and Tony, Bill and Toni, Alan and Margaret and Trevor (all of whom should have been playing) and many others, the whole ICC team are elated.

The final will be played at Solihull in three weeks’ time on Sunday the 03rd April. We will be playing West Midlands who beat Dorset in their semi final also played yesterday.
