South attacked again and held the last two ends for singles but Peckers had another win with score at 16 – 11.

Owls hovered and swooped again for a second double and a single to reduce St Margaret’s lead to 14 – 9 with one end to play. St Margaret’s pushed again and held the last end for a triple giving them another win at 17 – 9.
Mat four had our second first division game. This was between Shillington Black’s Paul, Julia & Bill and our division one leaders Greenwood Hawks Barry, Val & Darren. Hawks got started with a double and followed on with a single and a second double. Blacks got their campaign started with a single on end four and followed that with a second. Hawks came back for a second single and a 6 – 2 lead after six ends. Blacks attacked again and held a double, following that with a second double they had drawn level at six all after eight ends. Hawks attacked and held a single but Blacks matched it the following end and it was all square again at seven all. Hawks pushed harder and held a double, again Blacks matched it and we were still all square at nine all with three ends to play. Hawks pushed again and held a single, they followed this with a double and then a final single to take the win at 13 – 9.
With two weeks left in this competition our league tables remain mainly unchanged. The only movement saw St Margaret’s win raise them to second place above Fairfield Falcons. Are our tables now in their final position? Lets see how things change next week when five mats will be in use, with ten of our twelve teams in play can Greenwood Hawks and Shillington Red maintain their unbeaten records.
Best Wishes from the Webmaster.👀
