A summary of the rules for the new ICC Team Fours competition to be played on Saturday 26th September:
- The competition is a team event for four rinks making a total of 16 players in each game plus a reserve rink of 4 players who can be substituted at the start of each round robin match.
- There will be a Premier competition and an A competition
- The competition will be staged at 4 local regional venues. Hertfordshire will play at Stoneyhills IBC, Brentwood Road, Brentwood Essex.
- The playing format will be Round Robin groups with four team in each, then the top two finishing teams will go forwards to a knockout.
- The winner and runner up from each venue will progress to a finals on the last weekend in January 2016
- Each match will have four rinks and be played over 12 ends.
- The winner will be the team with the highest aggregate shots scored across all four rinks and will be awarded two points, if shots are equal one point for each team.
- If teams are level on points the result of their match will determine the higher placed team
