Adrianne and Michael West are County Pairs Champions for the third time.  They won a closely contested final against Brian McGivern and Darren Stanford.

Sixteen pairs competed for the title and the honour of representing Hertfordshire at the ESMBA National Finals in April.  Teams were divided into four qualifying groups with the top two in each group progressing to the knockout phase.

The third/fourth place final was won by Pauline Taylor and Jeanette Gayler who overcame stiff resistance from Eileen Prior and Liz Bradley.

The winners of the event are guaranteed a place at the National Finals and the runners up will almost certainly be given a chance to represent Hertfordshire.  Places are allocated to counties based on the number of entries in their qualifying competitions.  The allocations will be published early in the new year.  In previous years Hertfordshire have had three teams in the Finals.
