The 2019 - 2020 Barnet League got underway last night at Jimmy Mac's in Hatfield with one First Division match and three in Division 2.

In Division 1, Greenwood Peckers had a comfortable win over Cuffley Gin.  The Peckers took an early lead and maintained it throughout the game, finally winning by 16 shots to 6.

Two matches in Division 2 involved Shillington teams against Harpenden teams. Taking 9 shots in the final 4 ends Shillington Black beat Harpenden Owls 18 - 9. In their game Harpenden Owls went into an early lead against Shillington Red and kept ahead  it throughout the match, finally winning 18 -12.  In the third  Div 2 game, Greenwood Hawks won comfortably against St Margaret's 2 by 14 shots to 5.
