There was a full programme of fixtures in the Barnet League at Hatfield last night.

In Division 1, current league champions Greenwood Peckers had a resounding win over  lack lustre Letchworth Lions. Picking up a 6 on end 3 the Peckers, who were all in good form, went on to win 26 - 9. They are unbeaten after 2 games and top the Division. The Lions club mates, Letchworth Dragons, were also on the losing end of their match against Cuffley Gin. The game was even after 11 ends but Gin went on to win by 18 shots to 5.

The two games in Division 2 were much closer. St Margaret's 2 looked dead and buried at 10 -15 down going into the final end; however, never say "die", St Margaret's picked up a 6 to win by one shot 16 -15! The other Division 2 game involved both Harpenden teams; despite dropping 5 shots on end 2, Harpenden Owls fought back to beat club-mates Harpenden Nightjars 14 -11! Shillington Black, who didn't have a game remain top of Division 2.
