Whites then started to come back, by taking a double followed by a four they had levelled the game in two ends making it eight all. Tigers got on the prowl again taking a double followed by a triple they were back in front at 13 – 8 after eleven ends.  Division Two

Lions then roared and took a double. Although Reds replied for a single, Lions roared again for a second double and it was 10 – 4 after six ends. The following two ends went for a single apiece. With ends Nine and Ten also going for a single apiece Reds were maintaining their six shot lead after ten ends. With Reds taking the last five ends for singles they maintained their unbeaten record winning 17 – 6.

Letchworth Pumas Andrew, Alan H and Alexis played St Margaret’s Wizards Vicky, Derek and Graham. Wizards started well taking two singles. Pumas matched this taking two singles to level the game at 2 all after four ends and then pulled in front with a further single. Wizards then held end six for a single and it was all square at three all. The triple A’s then recharged themselves and took a magnificent five to go 8 – 3 up after seven ends. Wizards then got the spell book out. Taking a triple followed by a single and a double they had regained the lead at 9 – 8 after ten ends. Wizards continued the magic taking the following four ends for singles to go 13 – 8 up on the penultimate end. The last end saw Wizards fly high, taking a final four they had the win at 17 – 8.

Bush Hill Blues Terri, Jack and Roger played St Margaret’s Wizards John, Rick and Jeanette. Blues got of to a good start taking two doubles. Wizards then got started, taking a single, two doubles and a triple they were 8 – 4 up after six ends. Blues held end seven for a single but Wizards came back, taking a single followed by a four and a further single they stretched out their lead to 14 – 5 after ten ends. Blues held end eleven for a single only to see Wizards take a further two singles to go 16 – 6 up with two ends to play. Blues came back at the end by taking a double and finishing on a single to reduce Wizards win to 16 – 9.

With Greenwood Peckers looking fairly safe at the top of division one second spot is still wide open. The relegation zone sees the two Shillington teams vying for that third spot. With Reds secure at the top of the second division the two Letchworth teams are fighting it out for second place. Blues and Wizards are only separated by one shot so there is all to play for in this division.
